EXTREME CRICKET

During heavy rain in June 2012 a raised culvert overflowed depositing tonnes of gravel, rubble and toxic silt from old lead mines onto Threlkeld Cricket Club ground. The cost of reinstating the ground was way beyond the limited funds of the club so a plan was hatched to create a calendar. The concept was the club has lost its ground so the members would go and play cricket wherever they could - the more bizarre the better. 

Almost 7000 copies of the Extreme Cricket Calendar 2014 were sold, the pitch was restored and the fortunes of the
'Mighty Keld' were changed forever, if not their level of play ;-)
