The coastal redwood trees of northern California remain some of the most amazing things I have ever seen. To be stood alongside a tree with a 10m diameter and whose trunk climbs 100m+ above you is a life-changing experience. They proved very difficult subjects to photograph, without a figure alongside it's impossible to gauge the scale. Even with my best attempts I could not do justice to the magnificence of the largest living objects on the planet.

Yosemite needs no introductions, it is without doubt one of the most spectacular places on earth, a photographer's dream location.
