In February 2010 I lead a trekking group for KE Adventure Travel to explore the Hoggar Mountains of Algeria. One of the highlights was sleeping under the incredibly clear night skies, our Bedouin guides called it a five thousand star hotel. I photographed zodiacal light as night fell, if you don't know what that is ask Queen guitarist and astronomer Brian May who did his doctoral thesis on the subject.
